Do you use a comma behind the date when the sentence is structured as this example? Practice for all children performing in the program will be December 11, from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

There is no need for a comma here, unless you intend to add the year. Then there would be a comma between the date and the year, but not the year and the word ‘from.’ I hope your program will be a success.
