Traditionally, business corrrespondence has always preferred a colon after the greeting; however, some business letters are less formal these days and accept a comma. In my own business writing, I make the choice on the basis of whether I know the individual to whom I am writing personally and want to convey a sense of warmth. If I do, I go with the comma.
