Emily from MIssouri asks...
Is funner a word or is it more fun?
Anne answers...
Funner is definitely NOT a word . . . at least not yet. The word 'fun' is a noun, not an adjective. So if you are having a lot of it, you say 'I am having more fun (keeping the word as a noun and modifying it with the adjective 'more') than the proverbial barrel of monkeys.'
