I’m questioning the punctuation for “masters degrees” relative to the use of an apostrophe in the following sentence: “Both have received their masters degrees from . . . ” Thanks for your help!

Good question. My Webster’s gives no help as to how master’s degree should be used in the plural. Neither do my grammar books. So my best guess is that you would say their master’s degrees. However, here is a way to convey the same thought that is absolutely correct: Each has received a master’s degree from . . .
