What are the rules, if any, as to when to use the word grately vs. greatly (as in your help would be grately appreciated)?

Nancy, there is no such word as ‘grately.’ So, by default, whenever you mean greatly, the word to use is ‘greatly.’ I greatly appreciate your question.
