Is it incorrect to say in a pledge card title: “With your gift, we can forever change lives”? Or is it a rule that we should say, “With your gift, we can change lives forever”?

As a general rule, the parts of a verb are not separated by other words. In addition, good writing usually leaves the most dramatic part to the end of the sentence. For these two reasons, “With your gift, we can change lives forever.” is the better choice.
