?`s and ANNEswers

My question is simple. What is the correct punctuation for a book title in a sentence? Is it underlined or put in quotations? This is in the body of a news article and not in a bibliography if that matter.

I’m assuming you mean a newspaper article or a magazine article that is already in print. In either case, the title of a book should be italicized. If you are submitting a manuscript for such an article, however, it depends on whether you’re using a typewriter or a computer. Using a typewriter, you underline the title of the book in question. Using a computer, you italicize it.
